Just wanted you to know how impressed I was with
Timberlane Lodge. It was my first trip to your
camp... but not my last! In spite of some
challenging weather early in the fishing season I had an
excellent time on the water. The cabin was clean,
cozy and comfortable and the fishing boat and motor
exceeded my expectations. The food was way beyond
what I have experienced on other Canadian fishing
trips... and as good as any home cooking anywhere.
I can tell you take pride in what comes from your
kitchen.

We stayed at Timberlane in mid-July of 2007.
Wendy and Vance ran a great camp. They were
there to greet us when we
 arrived
(early) and helped direct us and introduce
us to the features of the camp and what we
could expect from them throughout the week.
The fishing was tremendous with 3 guys going
through their allotment of minnows by noon
on three separate days fishing for walleyes.
A ton of fish were caught and released, we
left after six days with nine fish in the
17.5 range and three over the slot limit. As
long as the weather cooperated we were able
to get out on the lake and nail the
walleyes. If the weather didn't cooperate,
or we were done for the day we were content
to catch walleyes in and over the slot off
of the dock - absolutely unbelievable and
exciting.
The hosts made sure that we were set each
morning and they accommodated every request
and were always available and willing to
help us during the week. The camp was full
of guys and gals that were there to catch
fish and make sure everyone was having luck
and a good time. We will be returning to
Timberlane for another great trip.
